NOTICE

Dear Parents,

Kindly note that classes 6 to 8 will have offline classes from 27^th June 2022, Monday. They will use Gate number 1(Main gate) for entry and exit. Periodic Assessment 1 for classes 6 to 10 will commence from 27^th June 2022, in school, as per the schedule shared.

Afternoon activity classes for 6,7 and 8 will also commence from 27^th June,2022.

On account of Rath Yatra 1^st July, 2022 will be a non-working day for classes 6 to 12.

NOTICE

Dear Parents,

Due to the ongoing heat wave, and as suggested by the Government directive dated 13^th June,2022, Classes 6 ,7 and 8 will have online classes from 16^thJune ,2022 to 24^th June 2022.

Classes 9,10,11 and 12 will have offline classes from 16^th June,2022.

Periodic Assessment 1 for classes 6 to 8 will commence from 27^th June,2022 instead of 22^nd June,2022. Schedule for the same will be shared shortly. Subject Enrichment 1 (English,2^nd Language) which was scheduled on 16^th &17^th June 2022, has been postponed till further notice.

Afternoon activity classes for 6,7 and 8 will also commence from 27^th June,2022.

Classes 9,10 &12 will appear for their PA1/Unit 1 as scheduled earlier.

CIRCULAR- COMMENCEMENT FOR Class XI

Dear Parents,

Class XI will commence school from 16/06/22 (Thursday) from 7:30 a.m. All students are to enter from Gate No. 6 (Prayer Hall) – Moira Street and assemble in the Prayer Hall till further instructions from the teachers.

They must attend school in their prescribed uniform, shoes and a neat and well trimmed haircut. Classes will be on till 2:00 p.m.

Dear Parents,

The school re-opens on 13^th June, Monday, 2022 after the summer vacation. As you are aware that the board examination continues and our school is the centre for conducting the exam, the classes will be held as follows: -

• 13^th June to 15^th June, classes 6 to 9 will have online classes.

• 13^th June to 15^th June, classes 10 and 12 will have offline classes in the school campus. (other details will be shared by the class teachers.)

• 16^th June all classes from 6 to 12 will have their offline classes in the school campus.

• Class 11 will commence their academic session from 16^th June , Thursday, 2022.

We are glad to announce that Birla High School has taken an initiative to register all our boys as members of the Engage With Science platform, hosted by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (registration of Class 11 boys will be done later).

After registration boys will receive an email along with their Login credentials (username and password) to their Engage With Science account. They have to login through their account with the Login Credentials and change their password after first login. Boys must complete their profile after logging in.

Dear Parents,

Birla High School Alumni on the momentous occasion of 75years of Indian Independence is organising an inspiring talk by Dr Kumar Vishwas (poet, author and motivational speaker) on 7^th May 2022 at Science City auditorium. It is our proud privilege that students of classes 9 and 10 of Birla High School have been invited for the same.

The school will be arranging transport for the students from school and back.

• Reporting Time: 8:00 a.m. from Sushila Birla Girls’ School GATE 3.
• Dispersal time 1:30 p.m. from Birla High School GATE 1.
• Students will be provided refreshment before boarding the bus in the morning as well as on return.
• Students should not carry food and other belongings inside the auditorium.

 

N.B. Plastic bottle /packet and eatables are not allowed inside the auditorium. Mobile phones should be kept in silent mode in the auditorium.

NOTICE

Dear Parents,

Due to the ongoing heat wave Classes 6 to 9 will have online classes from 2^nd to 14^th May & from 13^th to 15^th June, 2022.

Class 10 to 12 will continue to have offline classes as the dates mentioned in Notice No.06/2022-23.

The vaccination camp, which was to be held on 6^th May, 2022 will be organized as per schedule.

The program for classes IX & X at the Science City Auditorium will be held as planned earlier.

NOTICE

Dear Parents,

As you are aware your ward has taken the first dose of Corbevax in the camp organised by the school on 6^th May, 2022. The second round of the camp will be held as per the details appended below. You are requested to ensure that your ward takes the same on the stipulated day. Students who wish to take the first dose may also register.Details are as follows:

·  Day & Date of the Camp : Friday, 6^th May, 2022

· Entry and Exit from Gate No. 6 (Prayer Hall Gate) : Only one parent / escort to accompany   

   the student and wait in the Prayer Hall till the vaccination is administered.

· It is mandatory that students get their verification done before they proceed for   

   vaccination in the Verification room. (Room No.113)

Time Slots for verification will be as follows:

·  The students who take the vaccine have to wait for minimum half an hour post the     administration of the dose. (Kindly wait patiently until the entire process is over in case you are escorting your ward)

• Students will need to register on the COWIN App before coming to school.
• Students need to bring their Aadhar Card / Birth Certificate / Ration Card in original along with a photocopy.     
• The students of classes 6 - 9 will not have class on that day.

 

Kindly confirm your son’s presence for the camp via mail to his class teacher by  Friday, 29^th April, 2022.
