INTER HOUSE QUIZ CONTEST

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION & FELICITATION CEREMONY

The expansive grounds of Birla High School buzzed with excitement as students,
parents, teachers, staff and alumni members gathered to celebrate the flag hoisting
ceremony, marking India’s 78th Independence Day. Bathed in an air of patriotism,
the assembly was graced by the presence of the Secretary General, Director,
Principal, and Headmistress. Following the tradition, the Secretary General unfurled
the National Flag, prompting a wave of emotion among the crowd. As the Tiranga
fluttered proudly, hundreds stood in unison, their voices rising in harmony as the
National Anthem resonated across the premises, filling the atmosphere with patriotic
fervour and joy.
After that, the celebration moved into the Vidya Mandir Auditorium where the
audience witnessed a wonderful documentary on the Kargil War, depicting the
sacrifice and valour of our lion-hearted soldiers. It was followed by a motivational
speech by Secretary General, Major General VN Chaturvedi, and song and dance
performances by the students and teachers of Birla High School and Sushila Birla
Girls' School. The epilogue of the 78th Independence Day Celebration marked the
grand felicitation of the meritorious students from both Birla High School and Sushila
Birla Girls' School. The toppers were handed over a gold medal, certificate and book
vouchers for their outstanding scholastic as well as co-scholastic achievements. The
event concluded with the National Anthem invoking the sense of patriotism among
all.
