Birla High School (Senior Section)

The Birla High School clan takes great pride in celebrating different events and important dates all around the year. In order to hone the different skills of the students - be it organising or oratorical, theatrical or logical, debate or deliberation - different events are meticulously planned and executed with great ardour and propensity, inviting generous praise and appreciation. Inter-house competitions in debate, elocution , quiz, essay writing, chess are held at all levels to promote a healthy competitive spirit among the students as well as boost the morale of each house to perform the best to reach the top.The overall result is more confidence and more self esteem.

With this, the school observes with great punctuality the Republic and Independence day , Teachers and Children's day, Saraswati puja, L.N.Birla memorial day, Rabiñdra Jayanti and also Hindi day- an honest attempt to make the students aware of what each day signifies. It is to instill in them a love and pride in their motherland, respect for the deity -the goddess of learning, respect for their teachers, for their founder father and for all that is an integral part of Indian culture.
