VIRTUAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (CLASS 11)
2nd July, 2022, saw the beginning of yet another novel virtual journey for Class 11 at Birla High School. As our battle against Corona still continues, we had to organize yet another virtual connect for the Class XI Orientation programme this year. The programme started with our respected Principal, Ms. L. Saigal extending her warm welcome to everyone and introducing the members of the Management. She then introduced the concerned Class Teachers, Counsellors and Special Educators who would be the first point of contact for the students in the upcoming academic session.The Coordinator of the senior secondary section, Ms. S. Mukherjee then took over from the Principal to explain the regulations governing the functioning of the senior section.Overall, the orientation programme served as an important interface for the students, their parents and the school authorities to connect and plan for the upcoming academic session at Birla High School.
VIRTUAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (CLASSES 9 AND 10)
The Virtual Orientation Programme for Parents (of classes IX & X) was held on 23rd April 2022 at 9:30 a.m. on the virtual platform of Zoom. The programme had been attended by the school Principal, the coordinator, class teachers and parents of students belonging to classes IX & X. She introduced the key team members of the school and the class teachers of classes IX and X. The session focussed on the decorum of online classes, assessment and evaluation system and structure and the several awards bagged by the school in the last academic year. The importance of discipline had been highlighted by the coordinator, Ms. Sreemati Sen and she also explained few other scholastic (NSQF) and co-scholastic areas. At the end the forum was open for questions from the parents which were duly answered. Ms. Saigal ended the session wishing everyone a safe and healthy year ahead.
VIRTUAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (CLASSES 6, 7 AND 8)
The orientation programme for the parents and students of classes 6, 7 and 8 was held online on the 9th of April, 2022 at 10.30 am on the virtual platform, Zoom.
The Principal along with the Coordinators, MS. P. Bhansali (class 6) and Mrs R. Bubna (classes 7 and 8) addressed the parents. They were apprised of the various rules and regulations of the school
Many of the fears and concerns of the parents were addressed at the end of the programme during the question and answer session.
