EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES IN THE SENIOR SECTION(2021)
As a part of the Outreach Programme, Birla High School in association with British Council and UK aid is collaborating with Green Bank High School of Southport, UK under the UK Exchange Programme, “Life Below Water”. 10 students of class IX participated in the exchange programme. This initiative is a part of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 14) which aims to abreast the students about the adverse effects of plastic pollution and ocean acidification, thereby enabling them to understand its effects on coastal ecosystems.
UK virtual Exchange 2020-2021
As a part of the Outreach Programme, Birla High School in association with British Council and UKaid is collaborating with Green Bank High School of Southport, UK under the UK Exchange Programme, “LIFE BELOW WATER”.
This initiative is a part of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 14) which aims to abreast the students about the adverse effects of plastic pollution and ocean acidification, thereby enabling them to understand its effects on coastal ecosystems.
Ten students of Class 9 have been selected for this project to collaborate with the students of Green Bank High School of Southport, UK. This international collaboration would help to instill core skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and collaboration in the students.
The students of Birla High School, have not only undertaken multifarious activities like poster making, open house discussions, mini-projects, surveys to showcase the reasons behind plastic entering into the oceans and into the food chain but have also come up with various suggestions which would help in preventing the plastic from entering into the oceans and removing it.

UK Visit
On 26 th November two teachers Ms Ashleigh Rankin (English) and Mr. Danielle Sutcliffe (Geography) from Cardinal Allen Catholic High School visited our school from the 26th November to 3rd December 2016.

The United Kingdom journey started with Cardinal Allen Catholic High School, Fleetwood, Lancashire getting connected with us through British Council Grants which helped in building the partnership and sponsoring the Teachers visits. The Partnership has evolved over the last six years.

The Partnership is becoming strong every year with each school contributing towards sharing and learning from each other. This year, in January 2015 our Partnership was taken to a new level with a “Cluster “formation which involved six schools in it.
