Birla High School offers a plethora of activities encompassing Art, Craft, Music, Dance (ACMD) classes. This aims to strike a perfect balance between the Indian and western culture. ACMD classes are designed in such a way that it gives every student an opportunity to learn beyond studies. We believe that these activities can bring social & intellectual skills, moral, cultural & ethical values, personality development, and character advancement in students. ACMD classes are a part of the curriculum from classes VI to X and are held once weekly for every class.
Students who opt for Art are taught various techniques of painting and sketching.
Students who opt for Craft produce various items of exquisite hand work.
Several musical instrument classes are undertaken under the guidance of a team of experienced teachers. While Indian instruments include the Tabla, Sitar and Harmonium; the Western ones include Spanish Guitar, Violin and Synthesizer.
Indian contemporary and western forms of dance are taught to the students based on the Indian music. Special emphasis is also given to hone the aesthetic sense of dance in students.
