Birla High School (Senior Section)

Major General V N Chaturvedi (Retd.) is an Indian Army veteran of 1983 vintage with varied exposure and experience in the educational field in the Army Educational Corps and elsewhere spanning over 36 years.  He finished his schooling from La Martiniere College, Lucknow and completed his post graduation in English from the Lucknow University, wining the much coveted White Memorial Gold Medal in 1980. 

He has had varied instructional experience at the RIMC, Dehradun, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Institute of Diplomacy, Kabul Afghanistan and Sainik School, Satara. He was the Deputy Director General, Army Education at the Army Headquarters before retiring from service from the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun as its Academic Head.  Post retirement he was a visiting faculty at the Graphic Era Deemed University, Dehradun and Director, SICA Group of Institutions, Indore before taking up his present appointment with the Vidya Mandir Society.
