IMPORTANTCIRCULAR FOR HALF YEARLY EXAMINATIONS

 

      POINTS THAT STUDENTS MUST BEAR IN MIND:

       1. Date of commencement of the examinations:

             Classes VI-VIII : 7^th September 2020

             Classes IX-X : 10^th September 2020

             Classes XI-XII : 14^th September 2020

       2. The students have to be visible on Google Meet to the teachers during the entire period of the examination.

       3. Examinations will be held through Google Forms alongwith another handwritten examination to be uploaded on Google Classroom.

         4. Time duration for the examination :

• Classes VI-VIII: 2 hours (9:00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.)

• Classes IX-XII : 3 hours (9:00 a.m. to 12 noon)

       5. Please make sure that you have a good internet connection and data package, keeping in mind the mode and the time duration of the examination. We need to ensure proper visibility of the student toconductthe process smoothly.

        6. Please maintain the time duration. No submissions will be accepted after the time mentioned.

        7. No retests will be conducted.

       8.  The written assignments should be scanned and submitted in pdf format only and should be named with the student’s name and the subject name.

        9. In case of any unfair means used and detected by the teacher, the examination will be cancelled immediately and  the student will be given a zero in the said examination.

        10. Parents are also requested to co-operate with the school in ensuring that your ward is not using any other device or books for cheating during the examination, as strict action will be taken in this regard.

Hoping that you are all doing well. Further to the order of the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court pronounced on 17^th August, 2020, all parents are hereby requested to pay school fees as directed by the Hon’ble High Court by 24^th August, 2020. Fees may be paid in any of the following mode:

        1. By Cash/ account payee cheque at the school’s accounts office from 11 am to 3 p.m. from 19^th August, 2020 to  24^th August, 2020 (Both days inclusive).

A Special Online Independence Day Assembly will be aired on Saturday, 15th August, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. on our Facebook page. All students, parents and staff members are requested to tune in.

To celebrate Independence Day an Inter House Quiz will also be telecast on our Facebook page from 10:00 a.m. on 15th August, 2020. All students are requested to be a part of the quiz competition to cheer and support your respective Houses.

NOTICE FOR CLASSES IX & X

Dear Parents,

This is to request you to join us for an online Orientation Programme for Classes IX and X on the 14^th of August’20 (Friday)at10:30 a.m. via Zoom. It is imperative that at least one parent attends the same.

 

Kindly take note of the following:

1. This will be held via Zoom, the link for the same will be shared with your ward on 13^th August’20 (Thursday) by his class teachers. Please ensure that your device has the Zoom app uploaded.

2. Only one device to be used per family

3. Kindly keep the audio mikes muted for technical reasons.

4. A feedback form will be shared with you post the Orientation. Kindly spare a few minutes to fill in the same and submit it.

5. There will not be any online classes for IX and X on 14^th August’20.

For Classes VI,VII &VIII and XI & XII

Date: 28^th July, 2020

Dear parents,

Kindly note that we will be having an online Orientation Session over Zoom on Friday, 31^st July,’20 for the following classes as per the time mentioned below:

1. For classes VI; VII & VIII – from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

2. For classes XI & XII – from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

In this connection please ensure that-

1. Your device has the Zoom App downloaded- The link will be shared to you by the class teachers on Thursday.

2. Each family is requested to use only one device for the Orientation.

3. Kindly do not write in the Chat Box, as the audio quality will be disturbed.

4. In case you wish to ask a few questions, you may type the same in the Chat Box, but only after half the session is over. Due to an overload the video and audio quality gets hampered.

5. There will be no classes for VI; VII & VIII on this Friday.

6. Classes XI & XII will have only the first two periods i.e. from 9 to 10 and 10 to 11 a.m.

7. It is imperative that at least one parent attends this Orientation.
