Notice No.49/2020-21 06/03/2021
Subject: Final Reminder Notice to Pay School Fees
Consequent upon the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court order dated 13th October 2020, read in conjunction with the Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated 28th October 2020, the school had provided a 20% reduction in school fees to all parents and guardians of our students by its Notice dated 31st October, 2020.
Although the last date of payment as per the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court order, was 30th November 2020, the school had voluntarily extended the date of payment from time to time, first up to 31st December 2020, and thereafter again till 15th February 2021 and finally until 15th March 2021.
These extensions were provided, primarily keeping in view the deeply troubled and testing time for all, and the solidarity with which most of us have faced the situation so far.
However, in spite of repeated reminders, there are a number of parents who have failed and/or refused to make due payments in terms of the Notice dated 31st October, 2020 published in compliance with the order of the Hon’ble Courts and clear the outstanding dues. To these parents we would want to extend this last reminder to clear all dues by 15th March 2021.
We are also constrained to remind our valued parents and guardians that the school on its part has multiple onerous obligations, in terms of payment to staff, maintenance, upkeep of facilities and the like. At the end of the day, it is in the best interest of our students that these obligations are fulfilled. This can be done on a sustainable basis only when the fees is received in a timely manner by the school. We therefore seek the understanding and cooperation of all parents and guardians.
In terms of the judicial pronouncements, failure to clear the dues by the due date will leave no option to the school but to take action in terms of point xix of Para 61 of the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court order dated 13th October 2020. The school is further entitled to take any other action as it deems appropriate in this regard in accordance with law.
We sincerely hope to avoid any such action due to the non-payment of fees and hope that our students’ association with school continues to its rightful fructification.

NOTICE
Dear Students and Parents,
Greetings for the New Year!
The year 2021 comes with a new ray of hope and life gradually moving towards normalcy. Though the fear of the virus has still not gone in totality, the coming of the vaccine and the drop in the number of cases has certainly brought about more positivity.
As you are aware physical classes could not be conducted since the commencement of this academic session from 1st April’20, every effort was made by the school to ensure that learning never stopped and we ensured that productive online classes were conducted with a mix of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
I would sincerely like to thank the parents, students and of course our staff for ensuring the smooth conduct of these classes.
The school has ensured in every possible way to follow all COVID safety protocols and is in full preparedness to welcome back the students to school as per the directives of the Government, hopefully from 12th February’21 for Classes IX - XII.
A video explaining all the measures taken by the school has been uploaded on our website, our Facebook page(https://fb.watch/3qleAaAa-P/) and on YouTube(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxpgBWACUrU). I would request you to kindly spare a few minutes to view the same and allay your apprehensions
A circular will soon be issued with further details related to the re-opening of school for the concerned classes, as per the Government’s directives, which will entail the conduct of physical classes, examinations and practicals for the students.
Waiting to welcome our students back to school.
Best wishes,
Mrs. LoveleenSaigal
