ACCOLADES

 Grand-Finale of Mental Math Asia Cup 2021- Two students from classes X and XI had participated in the event and had done us proud.

 Souradipto Paul of class X had participated in the Grand Master-open category and his All Asia class/grade ranking is 31. He has secured grade B+.

 Table Tennis - Soumil Mukherjee ( Class XI) has won a double bronze medal in U-17 and U-19 Boys Singles category in 3rd Bengal State Table Tennis  Championship 2021 . He is also selected for one National Championships.

 X-UBERANCE- An inter school fest organised by St. Xavier’s Collegiate School from 8^th-10 October.

    Ram Daftari,  Siddharth Gupta and Kannv Dhandhania of  class X came first in the senior Quiz event. Param Palana of  class X was in the  school dance group which came 2nd in  Western Dance. Akshay  Jain, David Periwal,  Md Anas Ali, Rajmit Banerjee and Kannv Dhandhania of Class X participated in the AD Spoof event, bagging the 2nd prize.

 The La Martiniere College, Lucknow had organised an online Model United Nations from 8^th - 10^th October, 2021. Birla High School won two awards: Ram Daftari won the High Commendation and Kannv Dhandhania for the Special Mention.

 Friends FM Quiz : Ram Daftari and Siddhartha Gupta of class X have been participating in this quiz for the entire month and have reached the final round securing the highest score. Scoring 400 points the BHS team has won against La Martinere for Boys securing a 375 point. The Quiz will continue further.

DAAN UTSAV

We make a living by what we get and we make a life by what we give! Birla High School has believed in the well being of not only it's immediate community but also the society as a whole.  2021 was not an exception. During the 'Joy Of Giving' week or 'Daan Utsav', the school donated certain basic necessities of life to the Tollygunge Home of East India Charitable Trust, an old age home at N.S.C. Bose Road and Indian Society for Rehabilitation of Children, an orphanage at Purna Das Road. This humane gesture by the B.H.S. family celebrated the true spirit of happiness to usher in the festivity.
