Periodic Assessment being held for classes VI to VIII from 29 November to 14 December, through online platform.
1st Position achieved by Aarav Kumar and Kshrugal Bhattacharjee, Middle school, in the ‘Relativity Fest’ organised by La Martinere for Boys’ held on 26th November.
Debarshi Bhattacharjee (Class VIII) and Adi Majumdar (Class VI) emerged the winners in the Young Achievers International category in the Manav Rachna International School Quiz hosted by JYB Quiz League, Noida, from 23rd to 26th November.
COMMEMORATIVE EVENTS
Annual Day - The Annual Day Prize Distribution ceremony for classes X and XII of the session 2020-21 was aired virtually on the auspicious day of GuruPurab i.e 19th November 2021 to acknowledge and recognise the effort, hardwork and success of our students. In the special prizes category, this year, the S.P. Banerjee Award of Excellence was received by Atharva Choudhary of XB. Birla High School Alumni Trophy for the School Toppers was awarded to Sarbo Sarcar of XB again. The Bhavesh Jajoo Memorial Award recipient from class X was Aman Gupta of XE. 100% in subjects in AISSE 2021 was another category of prizes.
ACCOLADES
Manav Rachna International School Quiz - MRIS, Noida hosted the JYB Quiz League – 2021 from 23rd to 26th November. Almost 350 students across the globe participated in this International School Quiz. Arya Sarkar (Class IX) and Rohitaswa Das (Class XI) stood 4th in the Innovators category.
Aarav Kumar, class VIII, ranked 2nd in the Wordsworth Quiz event of Abhilasha Fest Quiz.
SKATNG CHAMPION Garv Kejriwal, class VIII– C, bagged three gold medals 1000m, 3000m and 5000m respectively on 11- 14 November. The event was organized by the Roller Skating Federation, West Bengal. He will soon represent the State in the nationals at Delhi.
ACADEMICS
Practice exam for Classes X on the new OMR Sheets was organised from 16th November.
Board Examination Term 1 also began from 16th November for the minor subjects and from 30th November for the major ones.
Offline classes started for classes IX and XI with 50% attendance and classes are being conducted in a hybrid mode.
Orientation programmes were organized for students and parents of classes IX-XII to prepare them for the re-opening of school. They were made aware of the rules and regulations to be followed in school and the steps being taken by the school for the safety of all concerned.
