Birla High School (Senior Section)

A Coffee Table Book Launch was organized by Birla High School Alumni on Saturday, 27th August, 2022 in the Centre for Performing Arts at Sushila Birla Girls’ School. This was a milestone event for Birla High School and first of its kind. The coffee table book titled ‘Darkness to Light’ was released by the Chief Guest, Rear Admiral Rajeev Parlikar, a senior Alumnus.

Independence Day: Birla High School, as always celebrated Independence Day with patriotic gaiety and fervour. Major General V N Chaturvedi (Retd); Secretary General of the Vidya Mandir Society hoisted the national flag. The national anthem was sung followed by Major General Chaturvedi’s message to the students. At the end of the cultural programme, all present were given a customized folder and a box of sweets from the school.

Faculty Development:

The teachers from Birla High School have attended 208 CBSE webinars in the month of August.

Workshops and Seminars:

Students of middle school participated in a workshop organized by Intach on 3rd August. During the workshop, the children were given demonstrations on how to shoot a short film and how to edit them by the use of various editing software. Workshops organized by CENTA was attended by Amitava Mitra, Special Educator on 4 th , 6 th , 11 th and 18 th August.

A Coding and AI workshop was organized by Techradiance from 1 st – 17 th August and was attended by Mr. Arun Sen. Asst. Teacher from the senior section.
