Independence Day Celebration,2017
The Independence Day was celebrated with great regards on Tuesday, the 15th August, 2017 at Birla High School premises. Ms. Mukta Nain, Principal of BHS, hoisted the national flag at the school playground. Then a special cultural programme was held at Vidya Mandir Auditorium with patriotic songs, followed by a skit in Hindi, a recitation programme in Bengali and a lively dance performance highlighting a sincere love for the motherland. The national anthem, sung by a group of students, was the concluding part of the special function.
Inter House Quiz,2017
The15th Inter House Quiz was held on 4th August 2017.Mr Kinshuk Biswas was the Quiz Master.It was a tough competition between the 6 Houses.It was very interesting Quiz. Karan Mahipal of Ashok House was given the best quizzer award in the middle school. Arihant Saraogi of Gandhi House was given the best quizzer award in the senior school.
Class Canteen,2017
The boys of all sections of Class VIII organised class canteens this week. The proceeds from the sales will be used for Daan Utsav in September. A big thank you to the parents of Class VIII boys who helped with the food for the canteen sale. We couldn't have done it without them.
