Calligraphy workshop on 16^th August 2016

A Calligraphy workshop conducted by Miss Hiroko Nagahama from Japan (Kogan –Shi) assisted by Mrs.  Nigham as the interpreter. She taught Kanji (one form of calligraphy besides katakana and Hirakana) to the class 9 art students. It was a great experience. Chinese ink was used for calligraphy.

Independence Day Celebrations at Birla High School on 15th August,2016.

Dental Camp
Alumni had organised a Dental Camp for students of Std 6 to Std 10 from 08th Aug to 12th Aug. Dr Mallika had kindly consented to do the oral check ups.

Class VIII organised canteen sale

The students of each section of Class VIII organised canteen sale of food from the 8th of August 2016. The funds raised by the sales go towards organising the Daan Utsav later in the year.

Every student is involved in planning the menu, distributing the work among each other, sale of coupons, money collection etc.

The whole school looks forward to that particular week of the year when the Class Canteens are held as new, delicious and innovative items are sold.

The enthusiasm among the boys is visible and there is a healthy competition between the sections to see who can raise the maximum amount.

A very successful event, the Class Canteens promote student leadership, team work, entrepreneurship, creativity and a sense of giving.
