The Orientation programme for class XI
The Orientation programme for the students of class XI, (2018-2019) was held on 21st April, 2018 at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The students along with their parents were asked to report for registration at 8:30 am . The pannelists for the orientation programme were Ms. Loveleen Saigal, Principal, Birla High School, Ms. Suparna Mukherjee, coordinator for classes XI and XII, and Ms. Joyeeta Mazumdar, career and psychological counsellor for classes XI and XII.
Behtar India Contest - Phase2
Birla High School had an extremely successful campaign in the first Behtar India Contest in 2017 where we were placed first in Eastern India and Naman Chandgothia of Class 10D placed third All India.
Naman was invited to attend the launch of the second Behtar India Campaign at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 10th April 2018. He asked pertinent questions to the Minister of Railways, Mr. Piyush Goyal. He was also interviewed by Arnab Goswami.
THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR CLASSES IX TO X
The orientation programme for classes 9 and 10 was held on 12.04. 18. The panelists for the programme comprised the principal, Mrs. L.Saigal, the co-ordinator Ms S.Sen and the School counselor Mrs S. Sinha . The mass communicator for the programme was Jai Suryank Purvar of class 10 E .
THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR CLASSES VI TO VIII
The Orientation Programme for classes VI to VIII was held on 11th April 2018 in the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. Majority of the parents took out their valuable time to attend the session resulting in a packed hall. The panel members comprised of our Principal Ma’am - Ms. Loveleen Saigal, Coordinator of classes VII and VIII - Mrs Renu Bubna, Coordinator of class VI - Ms.Pallavi Bhansali and the school counselor - Mrs Soumita Sinha. They apprised the parents of the school rules and regulations and provided the guardians a platform to clarify their doubts.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY- MIDDLE SCHOOL - HOUSE PREFECTS
The Investiture ceremony took place on the 9th of April 2018 in the Assembly. There were two boys for each of the six houses. The twelve House Prefects who were selected from Class Eight were conferred with the Prefects responsibility by the Principal, Ms. L.Saigal who pinned the badges for them. All the prefects were made aware of their responsibilities entrusted on them and to strive to keep the flag of Birla High School.
