A free vaccination camp was organised in collaboration with Kolkata Municipal Corporation for the Rubella and Measles vaccine. The first camp was held on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023 for the students of Classes VI – X. A total number of 213 students took the vaccine.
An online Orientation Programme was held on 28th January for the students and parents of class VIII to apprise them of the sixth subject offered by the school in class IX so that they can make their selection judiciously. A choice of 3 subjects namely – Artificial Intelligence, IT and Introduction to Financial Markets is being offered.
SARASWATI PUJA AND REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRTION: This year the Saraswati Puja and Republic Day was celebrated on the same day in the prayer hall.
Farewell 2022-23 – Birla High hosted a three-hour farewell programme within school premises on 14 January to organise a proper send-off for the students of class XII. The programme had music, dance, trivia and several awards that were given out to deserving students based on various parameters over the years. Finally, it was time for dinner and the DJ. DJ Aman Arora made everyone dance to various popular numbers and bid goodbye with a smile on everyone's face.
The regionals of the CBSE National Science Exhibition 2022-23 was held at Hariyana Vidya Mandir School, Kolkata on 12th and 13th December, 2022. Krish D. Shah and Moksh Agarwal, of class XI participated in this exhibition promoting their concept of ROBO-D.
A total of 68 schools from the eastern region participated and out of 128 exhibits only 14 have been selected for presentation in the National level to be held at the Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram. Krish and Moksh will be presenting their prototype at the National level in the month of February, 2023.
