Virtual Exchange 2020-2021
THE GERMAN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.” — Loren Eiseley
The German Exchange programme focusses on the magic element of the Blue Planet along with aspect of climate change. In the joint venture collaborating Birla High School, Sushila Birla Girls School (Kolkata, India) and the partner school Amandus Abendroth Gymnasium (Cuxhaven, Germany), students delve deep into various aspects of water segregated in various sub-projects. The current project tentatively focusses on the study of the Marine Habitats, socio-cultural impact on the locations and the ways of conservation. The researches would be done by both the partner schools in their respective locations and then a comparative analysis of the findings of the schools to be made to get a transcontinental view. The project has been designed in a such a way so that most of the collaborative activities can be carried on various virtual platforms, well acclimatised to the new normal pandemic situation.
